Who am I?

I became familiar with the Feldenkrais Method®  through recuperation from a series of personal injuries and dealing with chronic pain. I found  tremendous physical relief and healing, along with a new sense of myself and overall well-being. I want to share the same possibilities for comfortable movement and an enriched self-awareness with everyone I can. I'm looking forward to working with you!  

Hi! I'm Carol Magee and I am based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  When I am not formally facilitating learning through the Feldenkrais Method ®  I am living it in my daily life, whether it's the time I spend in front of my computer or the time I spend in the woods.  I love cycling, hiking,  paddling, reading, listening to music, and looking at art, among other things. 

I'm originally trained as an art historian, but I saw so many possibilities with the Feldenkrais Method® that I trained to become a certified practitioner. Now I do both. The Method ® informs my art historical scholarship as well as my teaching.  My volunteer works includes co-teaching ATM® classes for those impacted by incarceration in the North Carolina Correctional Institutions.
